I hold an MA in Humanities and a BA in English Literature, both from Old Dominion University. My graduate research focused on the social phenomenon within slasher films and their response to and influence on cultural anxieties regarding gender performativity. In my master's thesis, I exposed the link between horror films and social mores through historical context and theoretical application. Several chapters are available for viewing under the "writing" tab.
As a postgraduate, my interests still lie in storytelling and entertainment. With my education and experience as a writer and editor along with my creativity and passion for stories, the skills I have developed and honed are capable of being transferred to a variety of positions within the industry.
